Free Meals
We are currently a contracting entity for the Texas Department of Agriculture Summer Feeding Summer Program (SFSP) and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). We are also a food vendor and vend meals under the School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program to charter schools in the DFW area. All meals served are prepared at our central kitchen in the Cedars neighborhood in Dallas, TX. We go through rigorous application process to qualify as a contracting entity and a food vendor and undergo audits to ensure we meet Federal guidelines and regulations set in place by the USDA and TDA.

The Summer Food Service Program runs during the summer months while school is not in session. We serve any site where children gather, such as summer camps, churches, apartments, mobile home communities, etc. Children ages 18 and younger may receive a free breakfast, snack, supper, or a combination of two meals. The combination may not be lunch and supper.
In order fora site to qualify, the site must be located in the attendance zone of a school where 50% or more of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
All children at the site will receive a free meal regardless if they receive free or reduced lunch. Another way to qualify is through census data. A site must be located in an area deemed in poverty according to the census data.
